We heard from Chief Mette of the Metro Fire District, along with Jim Micheaels, Staff Park and Recreation Specialist, Gold Fields District of the Department of Parks and Recreation, State of California.

This is an informal neighborhood organization concerned about issues that may impact any or all of us. Our goal is to be able to present a "united front" when support is needed for various concerns, which include everything from degradation of the natural lake environment to fire safety, rattlesnake sightings, problems with phone service, and drivers speeding on our streets.
